Dr.Andrei Alexandru Enescu

Andrei Alexandru Enescu was born in Romania in 1980. In 2003 he received a M.Sc. degree in mobile communications from Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania. He also received a Ph.D. degree (MAGNA CUM LAUDE) in digital communications in 2008. He published more than 70 papers in journals and conference proceedings and he holds 2 US granted patents as well as other 5 filed and published patents. He received 3 "Best Paper" awards at international conferences. He co-authored 1 book and 3 application notes for students. He was project director for 3 national research grants.  He also served as a member of the Technical Program Committee for several international conferences. His research interests include Massive MIMO algorithms, 5G Physical Layer technologies, and IoT network architectures. Today, Dr. Enescu acts as CEO & co-founder of EOS Electronic Systems, a Romanian start-up in the field of Smart Cities, IoT and 5G
