Brian Blake
Brian Blake has seventeen years of industry experience with Acxiom Corporation, a leading US based enterprise data, analytics and software as a service company that focuses on harnessing the potential of data to strengthen connections between people, businesses and their partners. He is currently a senior research analyst with previous roles as a research analyst, database delivery analyst, data developer, and data quality specialist. His career has given him experience with data analytics, data management, data modeling, data mining, and information quality as well as both digital and offline demographic and behavioral marketing.
Mr. Blake holds a B.B.A. in Management from Harding University and a Master of Science in Information Quality from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is continuing toward a Ph.D. in Integrated Computing with an emphasis in Information Quality at UALR. His doctoral dissertation focuses on the interrelationship of information quality, trust, and privacy in online social media. His research interests include information quality, privacy and trust dynamics, data analytics, data management and governance, online social networks, digital marketing, and marketing technologies.
Mr. Blake has taught as an adjunct instructor of Data Management, Database Design, and Management of Information Systems for Harding University. He is also a member of the Center of Social Media and Online behavioral Studies (COSMOS) lead by Dr. Nitin Agarwal at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has earned recognition as an Information Quality Certified Professional (IQCP) from the International Association for Information and Data Quality (IAIDQ).
On a personal note, he lives with his wife and six boys on a small farm in central Arkansas where he raises registered pygmy goats in his spare time.
