Dr. Giuseppe Di Fatta
Dr. Giuseppe Di Fatta received a MSc in Electronics Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Palermo (Italy). In 1999, he was a research fellow at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI), Berkeley, California (USA). In 2000-2004, he was with the High Performance Computing and Networking Institute of the National Research Council (Italy). In 2004-2006, he was with the University of Konstanz (Germany). Since 2006, he is a lecturer in Computer Science at the School of Systems Engineering, University of Reading (UK). His research interests include data mining, Bayesian inference, scalable algorithms, distributed and parallel computing and multi-disciplinary applications in bio/chemo informatics. He has published over 50 papers in international conferences and journals.
He is a Co-Chair of AP2PS 2011 and IEEE ICDM DaMNet 2011. He has organized several international scientific events and served the technical program committee of many conferences in data mining, computer networks and parallel computing.
