Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Hof
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Joachim Hof is a full professor at the Munich University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. He is the leader of the MuSe - Munich IT Security Research Group. The research topics of his group include network security and software security. Before becoming a professor, Hans-Joachim was a research scientist in the Munich-based research center Corporate Technology of the Siemens AG. Hans-Joachim received his PhD from the University of Karlsruhe (now known as Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT)) in Karlsruhe, Germany. His PhD thesis covers security in sensor networks.
Hans-Joachim is currently the Vice Chair of the German Chapter of the ACM as well as board member of the Peutinger Collegium. He holds several patents and participates in the boards of several conferences. Hans-Joachim is advisory chair of SECURWARE.
