Jerzy W. Grzymala-Busse
Dr. Jerzy W. Grzymala-Busse is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kansas since August of 1993. His research interests include: data mining, machine learning, knowledge discovery, expert systems, reasoning under uncertainty and rough set theory. He is an author or co-author of three books; he edited 11 books, and published over 300 articles. He is a member of Editorial Boards of the Foundations of Computing and Decision Science, Fundamenta Informaticae, International Journal of Hybrid Intelligent System, Transactions on Rough Sets, International Journal of Fuzzy Systems and Rough Systems, International Journal of Computer & Systems Engineering and International Journal of Granular Computing, Rough Sets and Intelligent Systems. He served as a chair or member of program committees for many international conferences. He is a recipient of many awards for teaching excellence. Listed in Marquis Who is Who in the World, Who is Who in America, etc. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, American Association for Artificial Intelligence, International Rough Set Society and Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
