Dr. Kim Chin
Dr Kim Chin is with the School of Business and Informatics, Australian Catholic University (ACU) in New South Wales, Australia. She is the leader of the Security of Information System research group. She received the prestigious 2006 ACU Early Research Career Incentive Award.
Dr Kim Chin received first class honours in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1998. Recipient of the prestigious 1998 CSIRO postgraduate scholarship, as well as the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), she obtained her PhD in Engineering in 2003 from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She has authored numerous refereed publications and conducted a few tutorial sessions in International IEEE conferences.
Dr Kim Chin has 7 years research experience in Internet Technology and Applied Mathematics (1995-2002 in University of NSW and University of Technology, NSW). She has 8 years academic experience (5 years as an academic intern while working as a researcher in multicast networking and its applications) (University of Technology (1998-2003) and the Australian Catholic University (2004-now))
