Dr. Laurent Gomez

Laurent Gomez, PhD is a Senior Researcher at SAP Research France located in Sophia Antipolis. He is currently leading the RESCUEIT project, and is in charge the activities related to Internet of Things for SAP Research, Sophia Antipolis. His expertise is on the secure integration of smart items with industrial systems. He has been working at SAP Research for ten years. He has been involved in many European and French research funded project, such as WiTNess, MOSQUITO, WASP, and RESCUEIT, from mobile security to secure integration of wireless sensor networks into business applications. Laurent holds a PhD and an engineer degree in computing sciences from the Polytech’Nice, France. In the three past years, he participated to three European research project, WASP, TwistNet, Ginseng, and to one national ANR project RESCUEIT.
