Dr. Maria Stella Iacobucci
Dr. Maria Stella Iacobucci received the Dr. Ing. Degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of L’Aquila (Italy) in 1995. In 2004 she gained the PhD from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with the thesis: “UltraWideBand Radio Transmission Systems”. After graduation, she was engaged in researches in communication theory and coding from the INFOCOM Department of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Since 1997, she is in the continuous education field, working first for SSGRR (Scuola Superiore Guglielmo Reiss Romoli), the telecommunications post graduate school of the Telecom Italia holding group in L’Aquila, then for the training company TILS; from January 2010 in Telecom Italia HR Services, with the task of education projects management and teaching in the field of advanced communications (broadband access fixed, mobile and wireless networks, sensor networks, etc.) She is co-author of many papers and her current interests include digital communications, mobile networks evolution (HSPA+, LTE), sensor networks, reconfigurable radio systems.
