Radek Koci
Dr. Radek Koci is an assistant professor at Faculty of Information technology, Brno University of Technology, where teaches software engineering, object-oriented programming and operating systems. He has received MSc degreee in the area of computer science and engineering at the Brno University of Technology (BUT) in 2000 and defended PhD thesis at the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) of BUT in 2004.
Dr. Koci is deeply involved in problems of software systems development using formal models, especially Petri Nets, and simulation techniques and also participates in the research of agent systems and projects aimed at the security-oriented research. He is co-author of the software product for modelling and simulation of technological processes and cooperated in developing the tool for scheduling jobs in industrial environment. He led two national (Czech) projects, was, or currently is, team member of several national projects and two international projects.
