Dr. Roger S. Barga

Roger Barga, PhD, is currently principal architect for Technical Computing, a Microsoft initiative to partner with the scientific community to accelerate advances in science through computing.  The Technical Computing team works across Microsoft to coordinate our collaborative efforts with the scientific community worldwide.  Previously, Dr. Barga held the position of researcher in the database group of Microsoft Research from 1997 through 2006.  He is a member of the ACM and IEEE.  Contact him at barga@microsoft.com.
