Dr. Stephane Maag
Professor Stephane Maag received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Evry University, France, in 2002. He joined Telecom SudParis as an Associate Professor in 2002 and the CNRS UMR 5157 in 2003. Since 2013, he is Professor at Institute Mines-Telecom, France. His research and scientific areas are the study of formal approaches for the validation of network protocols and services. He specifically analyzes the networks in order to test in a formal way their protocols through active and passive/monitoring techniques. His main studies were about IMS based protocols (e.g., SIP) and MANET routing protocols (e.g. AODV).
He chaired several conferences/workshops and is editor and member of several editorial boards such as InderScience IJSSC, IARIA International Journal on Advances in Software Engineering, etc. He is also actively involved in several technical and scientific program committees, more than 40 over the years, such as IEEE AINA, ACM SAC, IFIT ICTSS, IEEE ICST, etc. Finally, he published more than 70 papers in refereed conferences.
