Dr. Wolfgang Leister

Dr. Wolfgang Leister is assistant research director at Norsk Regnesentral (Norwegian Computing Center), located in Oslo, Norway. He received the Dr. rer.nat. degree in 1991 from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany (now: Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), for his research within computer graphics and computer animation. After some years as software developer at Metronor AS, he joined Norsk Regnesentral in 1997 as a scientific researcher. His research interests cover smart information systems, multimedia, computer graphics and animation, computer and sensor networks, health care applications, and mobile systems. Wolfgang is a IARIA Fellow.
