Dr. Claude Chaudet
Dr. Claude Chaudet is associate professor in the computer science and networking department of ENST (TELECOM ParisTech) one of the first rank French engineering schools. He received his Ph.D degree in 2004 and has been part of the department since 2005, teaching and performing research in the networking topic. His research interests include understanding and proposing solutions for the security of Critical Infrastructures.
He has been part of the IRRIIS project (ICT-FP6 trust and security program) since 2006. This project aims at characterizing and solving interdependencies problems that may arise between telecommunication and power networks. With Alpha Diallo (Ph.D student), Postdoc and Researchers, he has been working on characterizing not only the interdependencies, but also the fundamental differences that exist between both network types. They are now designing solutions to monitor infrastructures with reduced information access, in order to minimize intrusion into the operators' networks. With Ludovic Piètre Cambacédès (Ph.D student), he is now studying the interactions between security, in terms of data protection, and safety, in terms of fault prevention in power Critical Infrastructures.
