Dr. Guillaume Habault
Dr. Guillaume Habault received his Ph.D. degree in telecommunication from Telecom Bretagne, Rennes, France, in 2015. He was an R&D Engineer at Orange Labs, Rennes, France, in 2009 and 2010, where he worked on improving last-mile protocols and access to network. Currently, he works as a post- doctorate for Institut Mines Telecom and more specifically on Smart Energy Aware Systems (SEAS) project. Both the experience he gathered on Internet-of-Things (IoT) during its Ph.D. and his industrial experience help him designed for this project a scalable and automated architecture for IoT applications in the energy domain. His current research interests include management and coordination of distributed micro-generation sources in smart grid. Such objectives require innovative solutions in order to have real-time and dynamic control and monitoring of energy loads.
