Dr. Subhasish Mazumdar
Dr. Subhasish Mazumdar is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, New Mexico, USA. He received his B.Tech (Honors) and M.E. (Distinction) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore respectively; he earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
His research is focused on various aspects of data management including privacy of mobile computing, extensibility of information extraction from data files, and algorithms for citation analysis. For his research he has received support from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Homeland Security, the Sandia National Laboratory, and the New Mexico Small Business Assistance Program.
