Dr. Tim vor der Brück

Dr. Tim vor der Brück is a research associate at HSLU with more than a decade  of research experience in machine learning, statistics and optimization. He studied computer science and economics with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at Saarland University until 2001. Afterwards, Tim vor der Brück worked several years at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in the area of error mining and natural language processing. In 2011, he obtained his PhD on knowledge acquisition from texts by means of machine learning methods and logic at the Distance University of Hagen.

He published more than 40 research papers, most of them at international conferences. Additionally, he has reviewed numerous articles for conferences in the area of language technology, computational semantics and machine learning.”
